Not much of a stretch
The sad thing about this excellent piece is that it isn't much of a stretch from fantasy to reality. It is well documented that over achieving black students are ostracized by their black classmates. "Acting White" is the standard accusation.

I was ten when Brown v The Board was made law. Sixty years later we are still promoting victimization. It won't end in my lifetime. Have a nice day.

See? They'd do it if they could!
Ah. Very nicely written, and, yes, as decidedly creepy as Stalinism, PC, Secret Police, and all the rest of the legacy that our Socialist Fascist overdogs crawl up from. I found the tone a bit "1984", as well. I'll visit this writer's site, and I hope to see more. David Walls-Kaufman

Nicely and scarily done
The Mandarins of Political Orthodoxy have has much humour as Torquemada. In fact they abhor any deviation from the Plan. So yes they are dour soul crushing spinsters out to kill any chance of happiness that others might experience.

Well Done!
Political Correctness is the new currency in the United States. I miss the days when we could just enjoy our differences and lovingly tease each other about them. I had an undergrad study buddy who used to tell me that I was too white to know how to make good biscuits and that only "Crackers" eat bagels (mind you, this was back in the early 90's). It was funny and true! My biscuits are dry to this day no matter how I try and quite honestly, I've never seen a person of color in a bagel shop. Why is that considered a racist thing to say?

I was unsure what to say...
I have to say... and this as meant as a compliment to the writer... this is one of the most disturbing pieces of fiction I have ever read. It is extraordinarily well-written, and the personality/mindset given to the 'agents' is beyond accurate - it is intended to be PC, and it is PC beyond what we might be willing to accept as possible. The idea that such a thing as what took place here might be possible... that ANYONE could do this... is terrifying.

My compliments again to the writer.
