This has a wonderfully absurd Leslie Nielson "and don't call me Shirley" flavor. I laughed out loud several times while reading it.

Even when setting aside the over-arching and relevant allegorical theme, this one is still a home run due to the well-crafted characters and the banter between them. It reads like your typical prime-time crime scene show, but funnier. The dry, cynical narration acts like a jaded tour guide through a museum of idiots... or dinosaur bones. Or both.
